Security & inspection
Patrol, inspection, night rounds
Quadruped robots for perimeter patrol, infrastructure inspection and night rounds. For industrial sites, warehouses, data centers and oil & gas facilities.
Typical processes for robotisation
- P·01
Regular perimeter patrol on a route
- P·02
Industrial infrastructure inspection (pipelines, cabling, equipment)
- P·03
Night rounds with thermal imaging and LIDAR
- P·04
Anomaly detection — unusual temperature, leaks, motion
- P·05
Data feed into video / SCADA

Base quadrupeds
Educational and pilot deployments. Unitree Go2 Air / Go2 Pro / Go2 EDU.

Industrial quadrupeds
IP protection, payload, thermal imaging. Unitree B2, B2-W.

Sensor modules
Thermal, LIDAR, gas analyser, 360° camera — mounted on the platform.
How it comes together as a project.
A 38-hectare logistics park: a dock station + Matrice 350 with a thermal camera. Night rounds every 2 hours across 14 waypoints; an IR-sensor alarm means takeoff within 90 seconds with a live feed to the guard post. The security shift was reduced by two posts with no loss of coverage.
Budget, timeline, limits
- Budget
- from $52,000 incl. dock station
- Timeline
- 8—12 weeks incl. clearances
- Scale
- perimeters from 10 ha · shops from 5,000 m²
- Integration complexity
- High · security-system integration required

Where robots don't help yet
Doesn't replace a guard physically — it's a sensor, not a force response
Complex built-up environment (factories with moving structures) — reliability drops
Regulation around autonomous security systems — country-dependent
Autonomy time — 2—4 hours depending on model and load
To save your time and ours, we name the tasks we don't cover upfront. If your case mainly overlaps with one of these — we're likely not the right partner.
Alarm response and physical perimeter security
Security-industry licensing
Integration with government surveillance systems
Hiring and training of on-site guards
The same class of solution already runs in this industry
Our job is to open access to the same class of equipment and integration for a site of your size, with local service.
State Grid Corporation
- Scale
- Substations and transformer hubs, China
- Equipment
- Unitree B2 with thermal imaging
A standard for autonomous inspection on critical energy infrastructure. Thermal inspection without shutdowns and without sending people into hazardous zones.
Hyperscale data-center operators, China
- Scale
- Server halls in large DCs
- Equipment
- Unitree Go2 · B2 with sensor modules
Quadrupeds running night rounds between server halls. Integrated with existing monitoring and SCADA — sensor data streams in real time.
What we need to know to give a concrete estimate
These parameters drive configuration and budget. If you know some of them — that's already enough to start the conversation.
- 01
Site area and type (open / closed / mixed)?
- 02
What scenarios — patrol, inspection, anomaly response?
- 03
Existing video / SCADA for integration?
- 04
Country of operation (regulation)?
- 05
Operating regime — continuous, schedule, on-event?
Estimate the economics with your inputs
A base estimate built on conservative norms. The exact quote follows an on-site survey — you can attach this estimate to the request below.
Drone-in-a-box + thermal covers scheduled patrols and night watch (~90% of an observation post). Budget: M350 + dock, thermal, security-desk integration, permits, a year of service. Over 40 ha — second dock.
Borderline — needs an on-site estimate
- Budget (estimate)
- $52 000
- Savings per month
- $1 620
- Savings per year
- $19 440
- Net effect over 3 years
- $6 320
Request an exact estimate
Leave your contacts and a few parameters about the site — we'll come back with an estimate and configuration for your case.
What to do next
Three clear paths depending on where you are: look at specific models, see a packaged or custom format, or request a short audit.
